Outsourcing Your Blogging Empire
When you have got skilled at building a blog that generates a profit you should look to duplicate the process across several other niches. If you are getting similar results then it is time to build your virtual factory. If you are having difficulty monetizing some blogs, then continue testing, learning and tweaking until you really understand how to make a blog pull in the profits.
Building a virtual factory just means that you are getting other people to do little sections that are involved with creating a blog. For example, you need people to do the niche research, competition and keyword analysis, installing and setting up the blog, writing the content, finding appropriate affiliate programs and testing variables like AdSense Vs Affiliate programs.
One aspect that some people is that you probably shouldn’t teach someone the entire system because they could easily replicate it by themselves, splitting the process up in to many different parts means that no one has access to your full system. After all if you actually become successful, this is something that you could offer to others via a education program, ebook, etc. While this may seem a little harsh, remember that before you became experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of building a profitable blog, you spent many, many hours learning, testing, and applying before you found the appropriate combination that worked – right?
Where to Outsource Your Blogging Empire
Finding people to do the work for you is actually very easy because there are people all over the world prepared to do the jobs I mentioned above.
Some will charge little more than $1 an hour, some may charge $20 an hour, pay what ever you comfortable with, but remember that generally the more you pay the higher quality of work you can expect (and demand).
To find people or businesses you have a world of options out there, such as:
- Scriptlance – Great place to find a programmer or technical specialist.
- Elance – Another great resource where you can find content writers, ebook specialists and Sales Page developers.
It is very simple when outsourcing parts of your blogging, basically the process goes like:
- You post a requirement for someone to complete one section of the process involved in creating a blog
- You’ll get a large number of people bidding to do the work
- You choose someone who seems keen, is asking questions about the work and can provide good examples of previous work
You can repeat this 2 or 3 times to find someone who does a really good job at a price you are happy with. Once you have found someone for one part of the virtual factory process you can move on to the next section and try out another 2 or 3 people. You should always try out several people so that you can gauge the quality of service you are getting. The advantage of this is that you can also have people on standby as a backup if your preferred provider suddenly becomes unavailable.
The whole process may take a while but at the end you should have assembled a great team that can work independently when you are not around. You are now simply the coordinator of the process and just direct the people rather than getting your hands dirty – a much better state of affairs.
Even if you can’t afford to outsource every section, look to outsource the parts that you do not enjoy as much or take a significant amount of your time, for example many people dislike setting up WordPress or customizing coding, but this can be a low cost piece of work that can be outsourced easily – don’t let yourself be held back by something you don’t like doing or cannot do due to a lack of skills, paying someone else to do it for you is a strategic move that frees up your time and gives you the freedom to focus your time and energy where you want to.
Outsourcing work is not something that is new, in fact it occurs each and every day from large enterprise organizations to small businesses. Outsourcing your blogging empire (or parts of it) makes good sense when you are at that point to be able to do so.

Agreed. Outsourcing can be used to super charge your whole operation. Initially you’ll need to monitor every single thing that the outsourcer does, to ensure their activities reflect your branding and objective. As the relationship extends and you become more comfortable with the process, you have more free time to spend ON your business rather than IN your business.
