OK, so you have probably seen it all and read it all before. Those stories of how people start a blog and make a bundle of money – enough to live off for the rest of their lives.
Well I haven’t got there – yet. But I have learned a few things about Making Money Online.
David Letterman style:
Number 10. Don’t stop learning. Read articles, eBooks, watch videos, etc. Knowledge is the KEY to success – once you have the key the doors will open.
Number 9. Get a calender – some weeks the days and nights will merge into each other making you lose all tracks of what day of the week it is, deadlines, etc.
Number 8. It takes a lot of effort, time, and personal will power to create a sustainable long-term online income.
Number 7. Find a mentor(s) that you can learn off. These people have been there and done that, so study them and use their success techniques
Number 6. Find like-minded, honest and ethical people to add into your online relationship circle. Integrity is a huge thing – don’t blow your’s and make others prove theirs.
Number 5. Set goals, both short term and long term and assign a date to each one. Then list what you need to do to accomplish those goals.
Number 4. Establish multiple online income streams – promote affiliate products, provide a service (i.e. article writing), sell a product (i.e. photos), etc.
Number 3. Don’t cheat people! I have been burned online before and it is not something that I would ever do to anybody else. Reputation is very important – it takes years to build and seconds to destroy.
Number 2. Ensure you have a stable source of income while building up your online ventures.
Number 1. If you enjoy what you do, it will never feel like work. Find something your passionate about and identify ways to make money from it.
Some may disagree with this but these are my own experiences and while I have not yet found the secret formula to online success and Making Money Online, I know that I will get there.
