Affili@syd is one of Australia’s biggest Affiliate Marketing conferences and as the name suggests, it is held in Sydney.

Affili@syd was the brain-child of Matt Bateman, Managing Director of Viva9. It was first launched in 2009 and following the success and buzz that followed Affili@syd 2010 was sure to go off. The idea behind Affili@syd was to bring together Industry experts, Advertisers and Affiliate Marketers and provide a forum to talk about trends identified in the past 12 months and where the new market trends are being seen.
Affili@syd 2010
Affili@syd 2010 was a very interesting event in that there was a very nice mixture of advertisers, affiliates and agencies in attendance. The event was held at The Menzies Sydney Hotel which is located in the heart of Sydney. Of special note some of the speakers of the Affili@syd 2010 conference included:
- Zac Johnson – Super Affiliate & author of Six Figure Affiliate Blogging
- Paul Borrud – Regional Vice President of Sales at Facebook
- Lee Hopkins – A member of the International Association of Business Communications
- Adrian Saunders – Data acquisition and email marketing specialist
There were also special ‘breakaway’ groups where a more intimate question and answer sessions took place covering such topics as:
- Managaing your email database
- Finance & Affiliate marketing
- Search & Affiliate Marketing, and
- Bloggers masterclass
All-in-all Affili@syd was a good event and one that I hope I will be able to attend again.
Thanks to the team @ UMDirect.com.au for securing the tickets.
