Hi Cemil,
You are the second person in less than a week to talk about how good Thesis Theme 1.8 is. My only concern is what will happen to all my widgets and plugins if I do a switch. From past experience, you almost have to start from scratch when you change theme. Do you know if this is the case with Thesis Theme 1.8 ?

Thanks for stopping by. The Thesis theme is one that I use across multiple sites (as I have the developer license) and what that I recommend (as per my review). When first installing the theme, there is a few things that you must do and settings that you need to change ONLY if you want to customize it beyond a certain point. From my experience of updating through several releases I have not had any issues to date.
As with all themes, widgets may look a little different depending on the layout of the theme, however this should be easily fixed by moving the widgets around or changing the layout which can be easily done through Thesis. The functionality of your plugins also depend on the version of Wordpress you are using. As a tip you should deactivate all your plugins and re-activate them one at a time – if one plugin is causing you trouble, just find a similar alternative that gives you the functionality that you are after.
