How to Find a WordPress Page or Post’s Number
Sometimes you need to be able to find the number of a page or post you have created. You may be wanting to exclude this post or page from your sitemap, robots.txt file or another purpose where the URL just won’t do.
So how do you find a WordPress Page or Post’s number?
It really cannot be more simple:
- Go to the “Edit” screen for posts or pages
- Hover your cursor over the name of the post or page
- The status bar at the bottom of your browser screen will show you the post or page number
